Oludemilade Martin Alejo popularly known as Ycee is a Nigerian musician, singer, rapper and songwriter. He was born on January 29,1993 at FESTAC Town, Lagos State. Ycee’s hit single Condo with Patoranking brought him to the limelight of entertainment in 2015.
Educational Background
Ycee attended Dr. Soyemi Memorial Nursery and Primary School where he obtained his first school Leaving Certificate. He then proceeded to Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Ojo. Ycee graduated from Marine Biology department in University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Music Career
Ycee started his music career in 2012. He signed to Tinny Entertainment. However, Ycee had to take some time off music because of his academic engagements.
In May 2015, Ycee released his hit single Condo. Condo which featured Patoranking had a lot recognition. It was nominated for Best Collaboration of The Year and Best Music Video of The Year at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
In June 2015, he released Jagaban. Ycee later released the remix which featured popular Nigerian rapper Olamide. He later received a nomination for Revelation of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards and Best Artist in African Pop in the All African Music Award that same year.
In 2017, Ycee released his first EP “First Wave”. First Wave was an 8 track EP. IN 2018, he released a collaborative EP with Bella Alubo, titled Late Night Vibrations.
In January 2018, Ycee Juice Concerts was held at O2 Academy Lagos. The Juice concert featured artists signed under Tinny Entertainment including Bella Alubo, Sona, Eugy, Ms Banks and Flosha.
In January 2019, Ycee left Tinny Entertainment to launch his own record label ANBT (Ain’t Nobody Badder Than).
Ycee released his debut album “Ycee vs Zaheer” in November 2019. The Ycee vs Zaheer album was produced by Adey, Jay Bidz, Ballertosh, Fanatix, BeatsbyKarma, Syn X, Krizbeatz, Jay Popping, Buzzin Producer, AP Da Don, Two Seven, Elmore, Willis Give Dem and KO. With Guest appearances from Phyno, Davido, Niniola and host of others.

Ycee have been nominated for series of awards including All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, MTV African Music awards and so on.
In 2015, Ycee won the Rookie of The Year in the 2015 Headies Awards. He also won the Best African hip-hop in the 2017 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
