|Ebere Irodi Udeagu was a Nigerian Engineer politician and administrator. He was a former deputy Governor of Imo state. Ebere Udeagu was born on April 4, 1943 in Ozara Ihube, Iga, Okigwe, Imo state.

Ebere Udeagu attended Central School, ihube. Upon graduation in 1957 he proceeded to Methodist Boys High School, Oron where he graduated in 1962.

Career
Ebere Udeagu started his career as aTechnical Officer-in-Training at the Ministry of Works and Transport, Enugu between 1963 and 1966.
Between 1966 and 1970, he worked as an Assistant Technical Officer at the Ministry of Works and Transport, Enugu. He was the Technical Officer from 1970 to 1972 at the Ministry of Works and Transport, Enugu

Ebere Udeagu was a Higher Technical Officer and later a senior Technical Officer from 1974 to 1977.
He was Principal Executive Engineer, Imo State Water Board, Owerri from 1982 to 1985 and an Asst. Chief Engineer from 1985 to 1987.
He was the Chief engineer Design and Construction from 1987 to 1990.
In 1990, Ebere Udeagu became a Deputy director, Water Services and later the Acting General Manager, Imo State Water Board from 1992 to 1993.

In 1999, Ebere Udeagu was elected the Deputy Governor of Imo state under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Personal Life
Ebere Udeagu was married with children. He was a Christian of Igbo origin.
Death
Ebere Udeagu died on October 10, 2022 after a brief illness. He was 79 years old
