Educational Background
Mustapha Inuwa studied at Runka Primary School and School of Arabic studies, Kano.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree and a post graduate degree from Bayern University Kano.
Mustapha Inuwa obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in history from the University of Ibadan.
Career
Mustapha Inuwa started his career as a Lectiator with Usman Dan Fodiyo in 1984. He was Lectiator till in the 1997.
Mustapha Inuwa was a lecturer at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University, Kastina.
He became the general manager of Kastina State Transport Authority from 2000 to 2002 and later the sole administrator Dan Musa Local Government from 2002 to 2003.
Mustapha Inuwa was the commissioner of education in Katsina State from 2003 to 2006 and the Special Secretary to Katsina State Government from 2006 to 2007.
Mustapha Inuwa was the longest serving Secretary to the State Government of Katsina State. He resigned to contest for governor of Katsina state under the All Progressive Congress (APC) but lost in the primaries to Umar Dikko Radda.
In October 2022, Muhammad Inuwa announced his defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
