Jeanette Lee started playing pool in 1989. She was named the sportsperson of the year by the Women’s Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) and was ranked No 1 women pool player in the world in the 90s.

Jeanette Lee was a three time runner up at the women category of the World Nine Ball Championship between 1993 and 1996. 
In 2001, Jeanette Lee won the gold medal for the United States in the 2001 World Games in Akita, Japan.
Jeanette Lee won the ladies’ US$25,000 winner-take-all Tournament of Champions twice, in 1999 and 2003.
She challenged Efren Reyes to a race-to-13 exhibition match at nine-ball, in Manila, Philippines, but lost 4-13.
In 2007, Lee was ranked 4th in the Pool and Billiard Magazine’s “Fans’ Top 20 Favorite Players” poll and was inducted into the Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame in 2013.
