Career
Saviour Kasukuwere started his career as a politician in 2004. He was a member of the Pan-African Parliament.
He was the Deputy Secretary of Youth Affairs in the Politburo of the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front from 2005 to 2009 and subsequently Secretary for the Commissariat.
In 2009, Saviour Kasukuwere was appointed the Minister of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment by Robert Mugabe.
In 2013, he became the Minister of Environment, Water and Climate and later the Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing in 2015.
Saviour Kasukuwere was appointed the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and National Housing in 2017 but following the military coup in 2017, he went on a self imposed exile.
In 2023, Saviour Kasukuwere declared his intention to run for Zimbabwean president.
Aside politics, Saviour Kasukuwere is a businessman and a citrus farmer. He is the Director of Migdale Holdings Limited, and Allen Wack & Shepherd.
