|Ibrahim Lamorde (20 December 1962 – 25 May 2024) was a Nigerian police officer who served as the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from 23 November 2011. He took over after the dismissal of chairman Farida Waziri by President Goodluck Jonathan. Lamorde was confirmed as Chairman by the Senate on 15 February 2012.

Ibrahim Lamorde attended Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, where he graduated with a B.A. in Sociology in 1984.
CAREER
Ibrahim Lamorde joined the Nigerian police in 1986 and held various positions throughout his career. From 1987 to 1988, he worked at the Niger State Police Command in Minna. He served as Divisional Crime Officer in Rijau, Niger State, from 1988 to 1989, and then as the Police Public Relations Officer for the Niger State police from 1989 to 1993. He became Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on 23 November 2011 after the dismissal of Farida Waziri, and was later confirmed as Chairman by the Senate on 15 February 2012.
Lamorde was a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. He passed away on 25 May 2024.
