Asa hails from Anambra State and is the oldest of three siblings. His father, Anthony Ukpabi Asika, served as an administrative operative at the East Central State of Nigeria during Yakubu Gowon’s regime. Asa’s mother passed away when he was just seven years old. He is the nephew of Obi Asika and cousin to Naeto C.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Asa attended White Sands College in Lekki for his secondary education, where he graduated in 2008.

CAREER

He started his career at Storm 360 at the age of sixteen, where he assisted with shows managed by Obi Asika. In 2013, Asa Asika founded StarGaze Management Company, following his departure from Storm 360.

Under StarGaze, he signed and managed artists including Naeto C, Boj (of DRB LasGidi), and Ayo Jay. In 2016, Asa established The Plug Entertainment, a multifaceted management firm that handles various aspects of the entertainment industry, including music, live events, and film. He resumed managing Davido in 2017 under The Plug.
