EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

He completed his education at the University of Ouagadougou, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology. He later pursued a master’s degree in mediation and conflict management. Ouédraogo also attended the Institute of Technology and Information Sciences (ISTIC) in 2006, where he developed expertise in communication and media management.

CAREER

His professional career spans journalism and media leadership. Ouédraogo worked at Radio Télévision du Burkina (RTB) from 2016 to 2021, where he served as editor-in-chief and later director. He hosted various programs, including the popular Sur la Brèche, which gained significant attention.

In 2022, following the coup in Burkina Faso, Ouédraogo transitioned to politics. He was appointed as Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts, and Tourism in the transitional government. He also served as the spokesperson for the transitional government led by Apollinaire Kyélem de Tambèla.
