CARRIE LAWRENCE BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She was also named Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player, contributing to her team’s Metro and District championships. In addition to soccer, she played flag football.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Lawrence had a standout high school career at Timber Creek High School, where she was an All-Metro and All-State player. Her college career began at the University of South Carolina, where she played for the South Carolina Gamecocks during the 2015 season, making an immediate impact and being named Rookie of the Year. After transferring to the University of Central Florida (UCF), she played for the UCF Knights for three seasons.

CAREER

Lawrence played for the Florida Kraze Krush club team, winning state and regional championships. She was also part of the Region III Olympic Development Program team. In January 2020, Lawrence was signed by Orlando Pride as a supplemental player after spending the previous year training full-time with the club. However, she was waived ahead of the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup.

In addition to her club career, Lawrence earned a call-up to the United States U19 national team training camp in 2015.After a successful career, Lawrence announced her retirement from professional soccer on November 29, 2024.
