Career

He fought on the Biafran side during the Nigerian Civil War (1967–1970) and left the military as a captain.
After the war, he transitioned into the media industry, joining the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), where he rose through the ranks to become the Director-General. He also served as a senior lecturer at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) engineering training school in Lagos. In his later years, he became a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), where he remained dedicated to his faith.
