CONTROVERSIES

In early 2025, Salami faced accusations from actress Ogundare Fatima and a production manager, claiming he left a movie set in Abeokuta without completing his scenes. Salami responded by explaining that the project, initiated by veteran actor Lekan Olatunji, had been postponed four times. He accepted a ₦100,000 mobilization fee and arrived late on set due to car issues. Citing prior commitments in Lagos and delays from the production team, he left the set, later alleging that the accusations were attempts to defame him.
Speculations arose about a romantic relationship between Salami and fellow actress Allwell Ademola. Salami publicly denied these rumors, emphasizing his commitment to his marriage and attributing the speculations to their on-screen chemistry.
