Chris Oyakhilome was born on December 7, 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria. He is the son of Tim and Angelina Oyakhilome, with his father being one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Pastor Chris is the third of seven children and the first of two sons in the family.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
He attended Edo College for his secondary education. He later gained admission to Bendel State University (now Ambrose Alli University) in Ekpoma, Edo State, where he studied Architecture.
CAREER
Chris began his ministerial work while in university, founding a campus fellowship known as Believers’ Loveworld Fellowship, which eventually evolved into Believers’ Loveworld Inc., also known today as Christ Embassy. Christ Embassy has grown into a global Christian ministry with millions of followers across Nigeria, the UK, South Africa, the USA, Canada, and many other nations. His teachings are broadcast on television through LoveWorld TV, and he is known for hosting global healing crusades and events like the Global Day of Prayer and Healing Streams Live Healing Services.
