Magda started appearing on the big tennis stage in 2013 when she played her first main draw match at the Internationaux de Strasbourg. That same year, she made it to her first WTA semifinal in Baku, which she reached through qualifying rounds.
Her first WTA 125 title came in 2014 at the Ningbo International Open. In 2019, she grabbed her first main WTA Tour title at the Bronx Open. She followed that up with more strong performances, including a title at the Thailand Open in 2020, where she also earned the Fan Favorite Shot of the Year for a creative slice forehand.
