BABATUNDE OWOKONIRAN BIOGRAPHY

Born in Mushin, Lagos State, Nigeria, but hails originally from Ogun State. He grew up in a polygamous family and faced significant challenges during his childhood, including the death of his mother at a young age. The loss left his family in financial hardship, forcing him to fend for himself. He worked as a bus conductor with the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ojuelegba and often slept under the bridge. He later sold plantains in the streets of Mushin to make ends meet.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

He attended New Mainland Children School and later Ilupeju College. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Lagos State University (LASU) in 2010.
CAREER

Tunde’s foray into acting began unexpectedly when he met Yoruba movie star Odunlade Adekola while selling plantains. Impressed by his passion and attitude, Adekola took him under his wing, mentored him, and gave him a place to stay in Abeokuta. Under Adekola’s guidance, Tunde began appearing in Yoruba movies and quickly gained recognition.
