EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

He completed his primary and secondary education in Delta State. He later proceeded to Delta State University, Abraka, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
CAREER

Emami is a successful businessman, politician, and traditional titleholder. He is the CEO of A & E Group, a company with interests in oil and gas, construction, haulage, hospitality, and entertainment. He is also the founder of the popular 911 Beach and Resort in Warri.
Beyond business, Ayiri has played an influential role in the political and cultural life of the Niger Delta. He was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Warri but later defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015. His switch came during a critical political shift in Delta State and Nigeria at large.

As a traditional leader, he was bestowed with the title “Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom”, the highest chieftaincy title under the Olu of Warri. This position gave him significant influence in the affairs of the Itsekiri people.
CONTROVERSIES

During his tenure as the Ologbotsere of Warri was mired in controversy, particularly during the succession of the Olu of Warri throne. He opposed the selection of Olu Ogiame Atuwatse III, citing alleged procedural irregularities. This led to a deep rift within the kingdom, and in 2021, he was suspended from his position as Ologbotsere by the palace. In 2023, he was officially replaced as Ologbotsere.
