Sanku tragically passed away after a car accident on the Oyo-Ogbomoso road in Ibadan. The accident happened early Monday morning when a truck lost control and went into a ditch. Sanku and his companion were rushed to the hospital, but sadly, they were later confirmed dead.
News of his death spread quickly on social media, with actors and colleagues mourning his passing. Actress Funmi Awelewa revealed that she had asked someone near Bowen Hospital to check on him, and they initially said he was responding to treatment. Unfortunately, despite prayers and hope, he did not survive. Actor Yemi Elesho and other Nollywood figures also confirmed and mourned his death.
