Educational Background

Francis’ early football and general education came through the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, a school known for combining academics with high-level football training. This is where he developed both his classroom foundation and his football skills before moving to Europe.
Career

Francis was born in Accra and joined the Right to Dream Academy at a young age. While still at the academy, he took part in international youth tournaments and was named the best player at a J-League Youth competition in Japan, scoring twice in the final.
He first appeared for Nordsjælland’s youth sides in 2017 and later played in the Viareggio Cup in 2019. He officially joined the Danish club in the summer of 2019 and made his senior debut on 14 July 2019 in a 3–0 win over AC Horsens. That same month, the club extended his contract until 2023.
With one year left on his deal, Nordsjælland sold Francis to Belgian side Cercle Brugge in August 2022. He played more than 60 matches for the club, scoring once and assisting seven goals.
Francis signed for Toulouse on 6 August 2025, becoming the first Ghanaian footballer in the club’s history. He made his Ligue 1 debut on 14 September 2025 against Lille and quickly became an important part of the team, making eight league appearances before his injury.
Francis has earned five caps for the Ghana national team, contributing mainly as a dynamic midfielder. He has participated in friendlies and qualifiers and is considered one of Ghana’s promising young talents.
Controversies

As of now, Francis has not been involved in any major controversies. His career has been largely focused on football, and he is known for maintaining a professional reputation both on and off the pitch.
In November 2025, Francis suffered a serious injury while playing for Ghana in a match against Japan. He underwent successful surgery and has started rehabilitation. He is expected to return to action in 2026, though the injury ruled him out of the remainder of the season and the upcoming World Cup.
