He also had rich experience in military communication. He served as the Public Relations Officer for Nigeria’s contingent in the United Nations Mission in Rwanda and later became the Public Relations Officer to a former Chief of Army Staff. As an instructor, Brig Gen Uba was a respected Directing Staff and Chief Instructor at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji.
