Educational Background

Bello studied Political Science and International Relations at Wheaton College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He also had a minor in Religious Studies. Career

Bello started his professional career at Huawei Nigeria, where he worked as a manager. During his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2015, he became more involved in politics. He worked with the Good Governance Group (3G) and co-founded the Rescue Kaduna Group (RKG), a political action group formed before the 2015 general elections. Around that period, he served as Director of Youth Mobilisation for the Buhari Campaign Organisation.
From 2019 to 2022, Bello worked closely with Uba Sani as a Senior Legislative Aide and later Chief of Staff when Uba Sani was a senator. He is also involved in non-profit work. He serves as a board member of the Yasmin El-Rufai Foundation (YELF) and is associated with the Hamza El-Rufai Foundation (HELF), both set up in memory of his late siblings.
Bello is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). In February 2023, he contested for the House of Representatives seat for Kaduna North Federal Constituency and won with 51,052 votes. He defeated the PDP candidate and became the first candidate to win all 12 wards in Kaduna North.
In the 10th National Assembly, he was appointed Chairman of the House Committee on Banking Regulations. In this role, he oversees matters related to banking policies and financial regulations in Nigeria.
Controversies

Recently, Bello responded to rumours about leaving the APC ahead of the 2027 elections. A social media user had suggested he should defect to another party. He dismissed the idea and said his political decisions are not influenced by online pressure. He reminded critics that 51,052 people voted for him and that his loyalty is to his constituents.
He added that the only condition under which he would leave the APC is if his father, whom he calls “Mallam,” asks him to do so. He also stressed his loyalty to Governor Uba Sani and said he would not act against the Kaduna State administration.
