
Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite is a Nigerian politician, medical doctor, and financial analyst. She was born on 16 October 1973 in Orsu-Obodo in the Oru clan of Oguta Local Government Area, Imo State, Nigeria. Over the years, she has worked in medicine, banking, and government service.
She served as Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment from August 2023 to October 2024 after being appointed by Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In November 2024, she was redeployed and became the Minister of State for Finance. Before joining the federal government, she was the Commissioner for Finance and Coordinator of the Economy in Imo State.
