EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Ginsau received his early education at Garko Primary School and later attended Federal Government College, Jos. He obtained a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University (1977–1981). He further strengthened his linguistic and diplomatic skills with a Certificate in French Language and Civilization from Alliance Française Dakar between 1986 and 1989.
CAREER

Ambassador Ginsau joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nigeria in October 1982, serving until his retirement in October 2017. His overseas diplomatic postings included Senegal, United Kingdom, Spain, Sudan, and Algeria. He served as Acting Ambassador to Spain, the Vatican, and Sudan, and also represented Nigeria at the United Nations World Tourism Organization in Madrid. Beyond diplomacy, Ginsau contributed to governance within Nigeria. He served as Commissioner for Lands and Regional Planning in Jigawa State (1997–1999).
