Saheed Osupa, born Akorede Babatunde Okunola on August 7, 1969, in the Mosafejo area of Ajegunle, Lagos State, is one of the most celebrated Fuji musicians in Nigeria and Africa. Known by his stage name King Saheed Osupa or K.S.O., he is widely regarded as the pioneer of Hip Fuji a genre he created by blending traditional Fuji music with hip-hop and was officially crowned the King of Fuji Music by the late Fuji legend Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister in 2008.

Educational Background
Saheed Osupa attended Amuwo Odofin High School in Lagos, where he completed his secondary education in 1987. He went on to study Business Administration at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, completing his National Diploma in 1992. He later studied Networking Operations at the American International College and also acquired computer repair skills while in Manhattan, New York.

Saheed Osupa came from a musically gifted family. His father, Moshood Ajiwere Layeye, was a Were music artist and an elder cousin of the iconic Fuji musician Ayinde Barrister. Growing up with that musical lineage made it almost inevitable that Osupa would find his path in sound.
