Educational Background
After completing his secondary education, Dalori chose entrepreneurship over a conventional university path a decision that proved to be the foundation of his prosperity and community standing. Career
Before entering politics, Dalori built a successful business career, beginning with the trade of household commodities in local markets. He later expanded into the automobile sector, establishing himself as a prominent car dealer along the Lagos-Cotonou auto trade route one of the busiest commercial corridors in West Africa.
His political journey began in 1991 when he was elected as Councillor for Dalori Ward in Konduga Local Government Area. In 1992, under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) during the Babangida transition programme, he was elected Chairman of Konduga LGA. He held various advisory and board-level positions in public and private institutions before being elected to the Borno State House of Assembly in 2012 under the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) platform, a position he held for two terms.

On June 27, 2025, following the resignation of APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, Dalori stepped in as Acting National Chairman, inheriting the task of stabilising the party during a sensitive midterm period. At the party’s 8th National Convention in March 2026, Dalori returned to his substantive role as Deputy National Chairman (North), with Professor Nentawe Yilwatda being confirmed as the permanent National Chairman through consensus.
Dalori is widely known for his generosity, particularly toward communities in Borno State devastated by Boko Haram violence. In April 2025, he donated N10 million and relief supplies to fire victims in the Wanori and Nguluri IDP communities in Konduga.
