Kingsley Ogundu Chinda was born on March 24, 1966, into the family of the late Chief Thomson Worgu Chinda of Elelenwo Town in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. He comes from the Chidamati family in the Rumuodikirike Compound of Rumuodani community.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Chinda began his education at State School 1, Orogbum, Port Harcourt, and later attended Stella Maris College, Port Harcourt. He proceeded to Rivers State School of Basic Studies before gaining admission into Rivers State University of Science and Technology (now Rivers State University), where he studied Law.
He later attended the Nigerian Law School in Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1995. Reports also indicate he earned postgraduate legal qualifications, including an LL.M degree.
CAREER
Before active politics, Chinda built a successful legal career.
