Temitope Osoba was born on December 2, 1985, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. She was the first child of her father and the only child of her mother. After losing her parents at a young age, she was raised largely by her grandparents, particularly her paternal grandmother in Lagos.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Osoba completed her primary and secondary education in Lagos before attending Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ogun State, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education.
CAREER
Before becoming an actress, Osoba worked as a professional dancer and video vixen. She appeared in music videos and performed alongside Nigerian artistes including Weird MC, Ayuba and Olu Maintain. Her experience as a dancer eventually opened the door to acting. Her transition into Nollywood happened almost accidentally. While attending rehearsals for the Yoruba dance movie Ijoya, she was introduced to director Bayo Alawiye, who gave her an opportunity to participate in the production. She began acting professionally around 2005.
