Edun obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University. She joined First City Monument Bank (FCMB) in 2000 as Divisional Head of Internal Audit and Control. In 2021, following approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria, Edun became Managing Director and CEO of FCMB, making her the first woman to lead the bank.
