Educational Background

George Obiozor attended the Institute of African Studies, and Albert Schweitzer College.
In 1969, he graduated from the University of Puget Sound and subsequently obtained a PhD in International Affairs from Columbia University.
Career

George Obiozor was a Nigerian diplomat. He was the director-general of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs and the High Commissioner to Cyprus.
In 1999, he was appointed the Nigerian ambassador to Israel. A position he held till 2003.
In 2004, George Obiozor was appointed the Nigerian Ambassador to the United States. He served as an ambassador to the US till 2008.
