Educational Background
Abba Kabir Yusuf obtained a national diploma in civil engineering from Federal Polytechnic, Mubi in 1985. He later obtained a higher national diploma in civil engineering and a certificate and specialization in water resources/environmental engineering in 1989 from Kaduna Polytechnic. Career
Abba Kabir Yusuf started his career as a civil engineer and later ventured into politics, serving as the commissioner of the Ministry of Works, Housing, and Transport in Kano State. There was a controversy over an alleged row between Abba Kabir Yusuf and Aisha Bichi, wife of Yusuf Bichi, director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS).
