EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Morayo completed her early education in Nigeria before traveling abroad for higher studies. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA.
CAREER

Morayo began her professional journey in 2005 at CMC Connect, where she worked as a Client Service Manager. She later joined CUE Media, serving as Head of Content and Development, where she created several impactful TV formats, including The Room, Girlfriends, Changing Lives, and Shop Easy. She gained further recognition at HiTV, serving as Business Development Manager and later as Head of Content and Channels Acquisition.
In 2014, she joined TVC Communications as Deputy Director of Programmes. That same year, she pioneered the creation of Your View, a women-focused breakfast talk show that became one of Nigeria’s most influential discussion platforms. For a decade, Morayo anchored the program, steering conversations on politics, social issues, and gender advocacy.
In December 2023, she was appointed Managing Director of TVC Entertainment Channel, a testament to her leadership in the media industry. She also authored the book Becoming The Queen of Talk TV in June 2023, chronicling her 10-year journey in broadcasting.
Her excellence has earned her recognition, including being named among the 25 Most Powerful Women in Journalism Nigeria in 2020 and receiving the ELOY Award for Media and Communication in 2024.
After 12 years at TVC, she resigned in August 2025 to pursue a long-held personal passion project.
CONTROVERSIES

Like many public figures, Morayo has faced controversies. In the past, her remarks on sensitive political and social issues sparked backlash, particularly concerning her earlier criticisms of political figures such as Peter Obi, which she later admitted came from a place of limited knowledge at the time.
In August 2025, she also made headlines when she candidly revealed her struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts, sharing that these challenges partly influenced her decision to step down from Your View. Her openness on this matter was met with both concern and admiration, as many commended her courage to speak up about mental health struggles.
