Temmie grew up in Ilorin with a father from Delta State and a mother from Osun State. She became known in the music scene after signing with YBNL Nation in 2015, a deal that brought her into the spotlight. Educational Background
Temmie attended Grace Christian Schools for primary education and Dalex Royal College for secondary school, both in Ilorin. Afterward, she studied Medical Anatomy at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).
Career
Temmie started making music very early in life. She wrote her first song at age eight and later joined the church choir. Her mother supported her passion and bought her first guitar at 12.
Her big break came in 2015 when Olamide reached out to her on Instagram and signed her to YBNL, where she earned the nickname YBNL Princess. Temmie worked with the label for about five years but eventually left in 2020 after disagreements with the team. Since leaving, she have released several albums and continued building a strong independent career.

Temmie has openly spoken about her experience at YBNL. In 2023, she accused Olamide and his wife, Aisha Adebukunmi, of treating her poorly. Temmie claimed Olamide neglected her and said Aisha often embarrassed her in public and reminded her of her background.
She also said that Pheelz misplaced a hard drive containing more than 25 of her recorded songs, which contributed to the frustration she felt during their time at the label. Temmie believes she wasted five years at YBNL, having released only four songs throughout her stay.
