Controversies

The Minister quickly denied the claim. In an official statement from his office, he made it clear that the article was written without his approval or knowledge by one of his aides, Sa’idu Enagi. He described the publication as unauthorised and misleading and asked the public to completely disregard it.
Following the incident, the aide involved was suspended, and an investigation was ordered. The Minister also stressed that he is fully committed to his duties as Information Minister and has no interest in early political campaigns.
