Mohammed Baba Jamal Ahmed, commonly known as Baba Jamal, was born on 7 May 1969 in Akwatia, a town in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Baba Jamal attended the University of Ghana, where he earned a degree in Law and later completed an MPhil in International Politics. After his studies and legal training, he was called to the Bar in 2015.
CAREER

Before and alongside his political journey, Baba Jamal worked as the Managing Director of Meeme Business Venture in Akwatia. He also served in key roles within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including as Deputy General Secretary. In politics, he was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for the Akwatia Constituency in the 2012 Ghanaian general elections, serving from January 2013 to January 2017.
