Career
Pastor Fatoyinbo started his career as a pastor while still in the University. While in the University he coordinated students fellowship in the campus.

In 1999, Pastor Fatoyinbo established his church Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).
Today, COZA have expanded to various major cities in Nigeria including Abuja, Lagos, Ilorin and Port Harcourt with over 20,000 members.
Controversies
Pastor Fatoyinbo has been accused of sexual harassment by several women mostly former members of his church.
In 2013, Ese Walters, a former member of COZA said she had a week long affair with Pastor Fatoyinbo. She affirmed that she was not raped by the pastor. Pastor Fatoyinbo denied the allegation.

In 2019, Busola Dakolo and her husband Timi Dakolo accused Pastor Fatoyinbo of raping Busola Dakolo. The couple filed a suit against Pastor Fatoyinbo but the case was later dismissed by Abuja High Court.
In 2022, Pastor Fatoyinbo was accused of being responsible for the death of a church member Tega by a former choir coordinator Nnenna Kalyan-Ude in an Instagram post.
