Abdulaziz Musa Yaradua attended Musa Yar’Adua Qur’anic Model Primary School in Katsina from 1970 to 1976. He then went to Nigerian Military School in Zaria from 1976 to 1981 before studying at the College of Advanced Studies in Zaria from 1981 to 1984. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Technology from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria in 1987. Later, he went to the United States to pursue a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Rochester from 1991 to 1993.

Career

Abdulaziz Musa Yaradua started his military career as a kurtu and later became a second lieutenant in September 1990. He retired as a lieutenant colonel on September 30, 2010, after serving in the Albarka army for 29 years and 4 months. During his military career, he attended various military and civilian courses and seminars both nationally and internationally. Abdulaziz held many military positions and received several awards for his experience.

After retiring from the military, Abdulaziz entered politics, joining the CPC party in 2010 to 2013 and later registering with the APC party in 2014.
