Career
Uba Sani has had a diverse career in both the public and private sectors. He started his career in the public sector as a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he taught Political Science for several years before joining the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1989. Controversies
Comrade Timi Frank called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of Senator Uba Sani. Frank alleged that Sani masterminded a violent attack on Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters during its presidential campaign rally in Kaduna on Monday. According to Frank, Sani is the governorship candidate of the APC in Kaduna State, and if found culpable, he should be arrested and prosecuted.
Meanwhile, during a meeting between the Kaduna State Governor-elect and representatives of political parties, governorship candidates, pastors, and supporters, the environment was reportedly heavily guarded by plain-clothes and combat-ready security personnel. Additionally, the Governor-elect reportedly threatened a journalist for allegedly publishing a story against his political interests.
