Uba Sani is a Nigerian engineer and politician who was born on December 31, 1970, in the Zaria local government area of Kaduna State. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Abuja, as well as a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Calabar.

Uba Sani was actively involved in the pro-democracy movement in Nigeria and played a significant role in creating a strategic base for the movement in Northern Nigeria. Career

Uba Sani has had a diverse career in both the public and private sectors. He started his career in the public sector as a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he taught Political Science for several years before joining the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1989. At NNPC, he held several positions of responsibility, including Manager, Public Affairs, and General Manager, Corporate Affairs.

In 2007, Uba Sani resigned from NNPC to contest and win a seat in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, where he served as Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Appropriation. Controversies

Comrade Timi Frank called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of Senator Uba Sani. Frank alleged that Sani masterminded a violent attack on Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters during its presidential campaign rally in Kaduna on Monday. According to Frank, Sani is the governorship candidate of the APC in Kaduna State, and if found culpable, he should be arrested and prosecuted.

Meanwhile, during a meeting between the Kaduna State Governor-elect and representatives of political parties, governorship candidates, pastors, and supporters, the environment was reportedly heavily guarded by plain-clothes and combat-ready security personnel. Additionally, the Governor-elect reportedly threatened a journalist for allegedly publishing a story against his political interests.

Sani had invited some journalists for a press conference at the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign office, but the journalists were surprised to find that it was a meeting with various representatives and supporters.
