Abike Dabiri is a Nigerian politician and public servant who was born on the 10th of October 1962 in Jos, Plateau State, but she is a native of Ikorodu, Lagos State. Abike Dabiri served as a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Constituency in Lagos State.

Abike Dabiri was also appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in 2015 and currently serves as the Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission. She is a graduate of the University of Ife, the University of Lagos, and Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. She is married to Segun Erewa and they are blessed with children

She retired from her position at Nigerian Television Authority to stand for election in the House of Representatives, winning with a substantial majority.

While in this role, she sponsored several significant bills that were passed by Parliament, including the Freedom of Information Bill and the Nigerian Infant Health Welfare Bill. She also stood against the third-term bid of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Dabiri-Erewa was the Chairperson of the House Committee on Media and Publicity and the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs. She is currently the Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission.

Sule Erogbogbo of Adegorunsen Compound, Ajina Square, Ita – Agbodo, Ikorodu. Her paternal grandmother, Alhaja Alimotu Erobogbo is from the Bello Solebo family of Ita – Elewa Square, Ikorodu. She is married to Segun Erewa and they are blessed with children.
