Educational background
He studied at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. At 19, the singer put Egypt 80 on hold and went to England, like his father, to study popular music and sound technology.

Oluseun became interested in music at the age of five. At 9, he expressed his profound love for music to his father when he asked to sing for him. He began singing alongside his father as a member of his band. While in the Egypt 80 band, he began showing his amazing talent for singing and playing the saxophone.
After Fela Kuti passed out in 1997, Seun Kuti assumed leadership of Egypt 80. The group issued an album titled Many Things in 2008. Sean Kuti & Egypt 80’s debut album was made available under that label.
He received an honorable invitation to the Industry Nite in 2014 when he made his debut live performance. On Jidenna‘s second album, 85 to Africa, released in 2019, Kuti made an appearance as a featured guest. In June, Kuti was interviewed about pan-Africanism, his own country, and music for the Polaris series in the Visual Collaborative internet catalog.
The Nigerian musician released his debut album titled Many Things in 2008. The collection was hailed as one of the most exciting releases in music’s history. Two years later, he appeared in Calle 13’s song Todo se Mueve (Everything Moves) on their Entren Los Que Quieran album.
Seun is signed under the record label ‘The Knitting Factory’ and still works with some producers who worked on his father’s music. He has released several numbers, among them: Rise A Long Way To The Beginning ,Think Africa ,Mr. Big Thief.

On December 16, 2013, Seun and his wife Yetunde George Ademiluyi gave birth to a girl, whom they named Ifafunmike Adara Anikulapo-Kuti.
