Educational Background

Dremo attended George and Duke High School in Ibadan, Oyo State. However, he dropped out of the National Open University of Nigeria after his second year to pursue a music career and signed a deal with DMW.

Career

Dremo began his music career professionally when he was signed to A.P.P.E music entertainment. Under the label, he released songs like “Normal Levelz” and “OBT.” However, his breakthrough came in 2016 when he was officially signed into Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) by Nigerian music superstar Davido, alongside Mayorkun. On 20th July 2018, Dremo released his debut EP titled “Codename Volume 1.”

The 9-track project received positive reviews and showcased his versatility as an artist. It featured hit tracks like “Kpa” and “Nobody.” Following the success of his first EP, Dremo released a 5-track EP titled “Icen B4 the Cake” in August 2019 as a follow-up to “Codename Volume 1.” On 17th April 2020, Dremo released his second studio project, “Codename Volume 2,” which consisted of 12 tracks. The EP further solidified his position in the Nigerian music industry and featured collaborations with top artists like Davido, Peruzzi, Naira Marley, and Falz.
