Educational background
Amusa attended Kenny-Tee Private School, Surulere, Lagos and Mayflower Secondary School in Ikenne Remo, Ogun State for her elementary and secondary education respectively. It is worth noting that she started her secondary education at Mayflower Secondary School, but completed it in Mamak Secondary School in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Moreso for her university education she attended Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Therein, she studied and bagged her National Diploma (OND) in Food Science and Technology.
Career
Temidayo Amusa joined the Nigerian movie industry, otherwise known as Nollywood, in 2002. Then, she started getting minor movie roles, up until she was good enough to play major characters.
Dayo is also a movie producer who has top movie production to her name just as she has featured in multiple award-winning movies of which some of the movies include Ajegbodo, Oju Awo, Ekan Soso, Oogun Mii, Dewunmi Iberu, Inu, Idaa, Aroba, Unforgivable, Pathetic, and Omoniyun but most of her roles are in Yoruba movies, but she has also been featured in Nigerian English movies.
Besides acting, Dayo is also a singer. She has released a couple of songs one is Ayemi Remix ft Oritsefemi. Some other tracks from her songs are Aye Mii, Alejo, Blow My Mind, Mama’s Love, Omodaddy, and many others.

Dayo Amusa created a frenzy on social media after she posted an open request for a ”snail eater” which caused an uproar by her fans but she insisted that she said what she meant and meant what she said, she further explained that by the context, ‘snail’ she meant a ‘female vagina’
Dayo also took to her Instagram page on Monday afternoon to speak on the issue. She described herself as always wanting to be the fixer, hence, why she always remained in abusive relationships but failed at it. She went further to state that it was the desire to always fix such situations that made her attract ‘broken men’.
