Natasha Akpoti was born on December 9, 1979, in Nigeria. She is the second of four children and the only daughter of a Nigerian father and a Ukrainian mother. Her mother, Ludmila Kravchenk, is Ukrainian, and her father, Dr. Jimoh Abdul Akpoti, is from Obeibag-Ihima, Kogi State, Nigeria. She spent her early years in Ihima, Okene Local Government. Educational Background

She spent her early years in Ihima, Okene Local Government. Natasha attended the University of Abuja from 2000 to 2004, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree. She was called to the Nigerian bar in 2005 after completing her legal education at the Nigerian Law School in Abuja. In 2011, Natasha furthered her education at the University of Dundee, where she earned a Master of Laws degree in 2012. Career

This report detailed the wastage of government funds and embezzlement since the initial construction of the steel mill, which has remained non-operational despite multiple attempts to revive it. The report stirred controversy as it exposed alleged mismanagement and corruption in a government-owned facility.

Following the presentation of the Ajaokuta Steel Mill report, Natasha Akpoti faced accusations of deliberately misinforming the House of Representatives.
