In 2000, Dr. Bala Mohammed Bello Kakara became the Financial Analyst of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC).
He worked at Sigma Pensions Limited as the Chief Operating Officer and later as an Executive Director Operations from 2005 to 2014.
In 2017, he was appointed the Executive Director of the Nigerian Export and Import Bank (NEXIM) by President Buhari.
