Born on December 26, 1979, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Oyebamiji, was characterized by his outgoing personality from an early age. He received his primary and secondary education in Ore, Ondo State, before relocating to his hometown of Osun. Renowned for his impeccable comic timing, Quadri emerged as a veteran comic actor within the Nollywood film industry.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
His father intended for him to become a Muslim preacher, so he completed his elementary and secondary schooling in Ore, Ondo State, before returning to his birthplace of Osun to study Arabic and the Quran. Later, he enrolled and graduated from a fashion school in 1999, where he studied fashion design. He also graduated from Iree polytechnic in Osun state.
CAREER
Before he became an actor, he trained as a makeup artist and fashion designer. Sisi Quadri’s acting journey commenced in 2000 when he was introduced to Toyin Olaiya, a lecturer and mentor who likely played a pivotal role in shaping his career. It was his portrayal of an “insulting” character in the Yoruba epic film ‘Seniyan Seranko’ that marked a significant turning point in his career trajectory. In 2002 he featured in a movie called ‘Koto Aye,’ directed by the late Alhaji Ajileye. After taking an extended break, Quadri returned to the spotlight with a notable role in the popular comic film “Ebudola” in 2020. Aside from acting, he was also an entertainer and comedian and invested in a tailoring business. Quadri was also in demand as a Master of Ceremony (MC) for parties.
