Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, was born into a polygamous family. His father, Alhaji Okuneye, and mother resided in Ejibo. Both of his parents have passed away. Idris holds the distinction of being the youngest child of his mother and the last among his father’s nine children from three different wives.

Bobrisky pursued his secondary education at both King’s High School and Okota High School in Lagos, Nigeria. He later furthered his studies at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

On 8 July 2021, she revealed a new physical appearance after undergoing surgery to become more feminine.

In early April 2024, Bobrisky faced further legal trouble when she was arrested for allegedly defacing naira banknotes. This arrest followed an investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and was based on social media videos showing her throwing money in the air at a film premiere the previous month.
