Korede Bello was born on 29 February 1966, and was raised in Lagos State, Nigeria alongside his parents and siblings. He began performing at the age of 7 under the stage name “African Prince.”
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
He completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos. He pursued further education in Mass Communication at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, where he obtained a Higher National Diploma. Korede is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Information Management.
CAREER
Korede Bello’s music career took off with the release of his first single, “Forever,” during his secondary school years. His debut album, Belloved, was released in 2017, featuring a blend of Afrobeat, R&B, and pop.
He gained significant attention with his 2016 hit single “Do Like That,” which earned a gold certification in Canada.
