Educational Background
Hailemariam completed his undergraduate studies in civil engineering at Addis Ababa University in 1988. Afterward, he worked as a graduate assistant at the Arba Minch Water Technology Institute (now Arba Minch University). He later received a scholarship to Tampere University of Technology in Finland, where he earned a master’s degree in sanitation engineering.
