Educational Background
Bukky started her education at Apostolic Primary School in Ebute Metta. After that, she went to Oke Odo High School, also in Ebute Metta, for her secondary school. She later went to College of Education, Akoka, and from there, she continued her studies at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH).
Career
Aminatu Papapa began acting in 2005, but she officially became a professional actress in 2011. Her big break came in 2015 when she released her self-produced Yoruba comedy movie titled Aminatu Papapa, which became a hit and made her famous. Since then, she has remained active in Nollywood, especially in Yoruba films, both as an actress and a producer.

In 2023, during the general elections in Nigeria, Aminatu Papapa was one of the Nollywood figures who publicly supported President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. However, in 2025 after the election, she came out to apologise to Nigerians in a video that quickly went viral online.
With a heavy heart, she begged Nigerians for forgiveness, saying that her support for Tinubu was not because of money and that she did not collect a single naira. She said the suffering of many Nigerians, especially those who cannot afford three meals a day, has deeply hurt her. Her apology came shortly after another veteran actor, Alapini, also expressed regret for supporting the same campaign.
