Eric M. Bieniemy Jr. was born on August 15, 1969, in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. In 1979, his family relocated to Hollywood, California, before settling in West Covina, California. He attended Bishop Amat Memorial High School in La Puente.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Bieniemy attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1987 to 1990, where he played for the Colorado Buffaloes football team. During his collegiate career, he became one of the most accomplished players in the program’s history. In 1990, he helped lead Colorado to the AP National Championship, was named a Unanimous All-American, won the Big Eight Offensive Player of the Year Award, and finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting.
