Career

Njugush’s career began with a role in the television comedy show Hapa Kule News, a satirical news programme that aired on KTN, where he was cast by producer Abel Mutua. He then joined The Real Househelps of Kawangware, a TV comedy series on KTN, where his role as Njuguna became his national breakthrough. Controversies

Njugush’s most personal and most talked-about controversy is the collapse of his marriage to Celestine Ndinda, which became public knowledge in 2026 after 16 years together, including nine years of marriage.
Their marriage recently collapsed due to allegations of infidelity, with Celestine accused of cheating with her nail technician, Polycarp. On the positive side, the couple had been widely celebrated across Kenya as one of the most authentic and transparent celebrity partnerships in the country, openly sharing the highs and lows of family life, financial struggles, and parenthood on their YouTube channel, a level of honesty that had earned them deep loyalty from their audience.
On the negative side, the separation was an enormous shock to a fanbase that had invested emotionally in the image of two people who had genuinely built a life together from nothing. Reports emerged that Njugush retreated to his Ruiru home to focus on his children amidst intensifying public speculation regarding the split. The situation generated sustained commentary across Kenyan social media, with many fans expressing sadness, while others debated the pressures that public life places on celebrity marriages.
