LONZO BALL BIOGRAPHY
Lonzo Ball was born to LaVar and Tina Ball and grew up in Chino Hills, California. He began playing basketball at a young age alongside his younger brothers, LiAngelo and LaMelo, both of whom also became professional basketball players. At Chino Hills High School, Ball emerged as a nationally recognized prospect. During his senior season in 2015–16, he helped lead the team, alongside his brothers, to an undefeated 35–0 season and a national championship. His performances earned him several national high-school player-of-the-year honors.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Ball attended Chino Hills High School before enrolling at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2016. He played one season for the UCLA Bruins.
CAREER
Ball entered the 2017 NBA Draft after one season at UCLA and was selected second overall by the Los Angeles Lakers. He spent two seasons with the Lakers before being traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in 2019 as part of the deal that brought Anthony Davis to Los Angeles. Ball subsequently played for the Pelicans before joining the Chicago Bulls in 2021.
